You and me both. SO about 6 months ago I went to the doctor and was a little surprised at how much I weighed. So I thought, ok, I'll eat less. So I've been very unrestricted trying to eat less. I cut out soda. I do have a sweet tooth. Well just went to the doctors and I gained 20 pds. I was shocked. 20 pounds!?!?! I'm blaming stress and birth control and the cosmos being out to get me. Yes, not my fault. SO ummmm, I guess I'll just say that I love you

I am liking the theory of the cosmos being against you! It must be against me too. Perhaps I should go on an anti cosmos protest..... demand my right to skinny thighs!

I feel your pain and there is no easy answer. As I get older (pushing 40) I've noticed that the weight does what it does and I'm along for the ride. My wife is a comfort and stress eater and I like rich foods because it tastes good. We are what we are and we love each other for who we are, not what were not.

It takes a disciplined person to listen to convictions which are different from their own. ~ Dorothy Fuldheim

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
