The range is due to a variety of factors such as brew time, but at 24-40mg per 8 oz it's on par with Pepsi on the low range and just a bit more than Mountain Dew on the high.
Interesting, I actually thought green tea had less caffiene than that, add enough sugar and it's already looking nearly as bad as a pepsi. Now I'm wondering how much sugar pepsi has compared to say, liptons lemon flavored green tea (which would be the least sweet kind I can come up with off the top of my head)

50 Calories per 8 oz is half Pepsi's 100 calories per 8 oz, though it only has 14 mg of caffeine to Pepsi's 25 per 8 oz. Keep in mind the figure from the link in my previous post is talking about a brewed cup of tea. A bottle of Lipton won't have as much actual tea in it (for good or ill).

I wouldn't drink either, so I said neither. I just don't think that artificial stimulants of any sort are healthy. Even if you only drink it to wake up in the morning, it can still disrupt your sleep patterns. It's better to just listen to your body.
