The range is due to a variety of factors such as brew time, but at 24-40mg per 8 oz it's on par with Pepsi on the low range and just a bit more than Mountain Dew on the high.

Interesting, I actually thought green tea had less caffiene than that, add enough sugar and it's already looking nearly as bad as a pepsi. Now I'm wondering how much sugar pepsi has compared to say, liptons lemon flavored green tea (which would be the least sweet kind I can come up with off the top of my head)
