Hi all,

A very important question here take heed!

I just posted a reply to someone´s thread, and was forwarded to the new updated thread. Seeing my own contribution, i saw that I´d gone from junior member to member... (?)

Since I'm currently in a crisis of faith, I'm not particularly feeling like I'd evolved, so the upgrade in membership status seemed a little strange. I'd noticed before (not being judgemental here) how sometimes very 'immature'-seeming posts were signed off by senior members.

Somehow I'd figured there was an administrator/moderator who awarded status based on progress or merit shown or somesuch lofty reason. Somehow that doesnt seem so likely anymore... Does anyone know what does determine your membership status?

They're just titles awarded upon the number of posts you make on the site..they don't have any particular merit to them unless you're a Moderator..

Spiritual Maturity and posting maturity have different connotations. LOL

This is correct. It's all pre-determined number of posts. When you get to 100 posts you become a senior member. Really it's meaningless. Especially the Senior Moderator tag.
