Whats the quick reply?
I'm doing pretty good finding my way around the forums and such, but what is the difference between the quick reply and the reply?

Quick reply is the message box on the bottom of every thread which has a more simple, quick interface but less features. The normal reply method (which you can get to by clicking the go advanced button) has much more options, but takes longer to load.

But unless I'm saying something super short, like this, then I always use the actual reply button so I can preview my post before actually posting. You can't do that with the quick reply.

Here is another tip:
I have seen where members are confusing other member posts with who the post is directed to. Using the button instead of a Quick Reply assures other members who you are directly your comment to.
Personally, if I am not using the button (which opens the Advanced Message Box with all of the features), then I prefer to use the button.
Also, the QUICK REPLY does not have the PREVIEW option, which is imperitive to those who wish to make sure their spellcheck feature worked and how their paragraphing and sentence structure looks.
(Yes, I am picky when it comes to posting. This forum is akin to a written Journal of sorts, and I want to make sure my own posts are up to the same standard as my personal journals are)
All my best,
Michael
