Default How do I change the emails that I receive from lds.net?

Hi, I don't want to receive emails when someone responds to a thread that I have written in. Can I change this? Thanks.

Yes. There is a gray bar close to the top of the page that should have the words: User CP, FAQ, Members List, Calendar, etc., etc.

Click on User CP. It should give you a control panel. Click on Edit Options under the settings & options list. That should bring up a page that gives you different options for different things. The one for email is called Default Thread Subscription Mode where it should have a drop-down menu where you can change it to whatever type of email notification you'd like.

Hope this helps.

This will only stop it on future threads. You will have to unsubscribe manually to any threads you are already receiving the emails on.

In addition to the excellent advice you received above, here is another tip to UNSUBSCRIBE TO ALL EMAILS:
  1. Go to your email box and open up one of those unwanted emails.

  2. In the email, near the bottom, you will see the following phrases:

    • To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page (has link)
    • To unsubscribe from ALL threads, please visit this page (has link)

  3. If you wish to UNSUBSCRIBE to just that particular Thread Topic, then click on the link under the phrase titled "To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page"

  4. If you wish to UNSUBSCRIBE to ALL Thread Topics, then click on the link under the phrase titled "To unsubscribe from ALL threads, please visit this page"
    [/SIZE]

All my best,

Michael
