Let me check our personal databases where we keep your blood type, fingerprints, bank account number and a list of all posts.

Just do a search for your own posts in the search tab above.

I don't know how many times I've said it, but I'll say it again. We need the laugh button in this forum!!!!!

Just thank posts you find funny instead. Most people will understand it was thanked due to its humour. The advantage of this is that you cannot mock someone by thanking their post like you can with the laugh button.

It won't go past 500 results. I'm assuming this is to minimise load on the database. If you search for all the posts from snow for instance (who registered in 2003 I believe?), and the limit wasn't in place, the server would probably have a meltdown.

The best you can do is limit the search to various sub forums, that way you'll get the first 500 in say, Current Events instead of just the first 500 posts. I realize if you've reached the point of having more than 500 posts in any one particular forum that causes issue. You can also try limiting the search parameters with the date, search everything in a certain forum (or even the whole board I suppose) in a certain time frame. That option is limited as well as the date options aren't that specific and don't go that far back which would leave somebody such as Snow or Pam out of luck (to many posts and to long a member), but since you've only a thousand posts or so, narrowing things down by forum and date should do the trick even if it does take more work.
