i can¨t remember ever getting a spam pm? i have emptied my inbox, but it still says i have a unread...

can it perhaps be something about the infraction/ban message ?

It is the deletion of the user (with their PMs) before their PM is read that results in the bug of having a notification with no new PM. If it was deleted before you read it, or even saw it, then you'd not remember it.

Nothing to do with an infraction/ban message. Since you don't have access to any messages while banned we don't send the message there. The message is sent to your personal email that we have on file that was used when you registered.

I also am signed in, but not signed in. When I go to join groups it asks me to sign in, even though I am, so I do again, but it doesn't realize it.

I went to signup again as you recommended. It told me that I can't sign up because my email is already in use. Where do I go from here?

Still the same problem, I can't because my email is already in use. I'm not too terribly attached to this account, it's ok if we need to delete it or something like that. I would like to join that group though!
