Exclamation Am I authorized to create my own TALK page in MormonWiki ?

Off-topic (I don't want to read through 23 pages of "How To" questions to find my question, so apology in advance for asking my question on the first thread that is not closed and locked.

BACKGROUND: I have 1,500 edits on Wikipedia (with some good experience).

QUESTION: A few days ago, I created an account on MormonWiki, but am not able to edit my own TALK page. I would like to begin a discussion about "The 1940 U.S. Census (national INDEXING project)" but don't see any 'edit' tab (for my own TALK page) nor 'create new thread' etc button in discussion topics.

Is there a file I should read online?

Another question: Do you anticipate a 'search' capability here in Forums?

There already is a search capability. But you need to use the advanced search option.

Plus at the top of each forum (not thread) there is a "new thread" button you use to create new threads within each forum.
