Default New here

Hi!

Hope everybody is doing well. I'm Dubhghall (pronounced Doyle, it's Irish Gaelic for "dark stranger). Just thought I'd join up, I've been a lurker here for quite some time, and thought I might have something to contribute. I'm LDS and have been so my whole life. Served a mission in Brazil, and am currently pursuing my masters in neurobiology at the University of Utah.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys.

Sounds like you've accomplished quite a bit in your lifetime. You're not a firstborn are you? My husband also served in southern Brazil (Porto Alegre North) back in 01-02. Glad to have you with us.

I'm not a firstborn, I'm a second-born . I have an older brother and 3 younger sisters. I served in Porto Alegre South and had an absolute blast. It wasn't until my mission that I actually knew the Church was true, so I thank God for the experience every day.

Boa noite siouxz72! I suppose I'd enjoy getting to know everyone on the boards, but I've got an affinity for the real scholarly types...you know the ones who have an answer for everything gospel related, and there seems to be quite a bit like that in this forum! And thankfully there isn't too much bickering about matters like there seems to be in certain other LDS discussion groups.
