Default Hi friends

I am looking for friends strong in the faith. My mother, brother and slowly other family members are leaving the faith because of anti-mormon information. It is really hard and I am hoping to find others to help me stand up for the faith without losing my mind.

Welcome.

In order to make it through this trial, you'll need to stay close to the Lord.

Matt. 10: 37
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Sometimes we are asked to leave them behind in order to receive the BETTER LIFE the Lord has prepared for us. When they are ready, they will make the needed changes to join you. Each of us, individually, must humble ourselves and come unto the Lord "one by one". Just because someone is family, changes nothing. They must learn to come unto the Lord, as you are trying to do.

You are certainly among friends here. Chin up!

Hi,

I am so sorry to hear that some of your family members are leaving the church.
All you can do is be a good example to them is keep being strong.
Welcome

Rain

Hello, and welcome to the site...

It can be tough to stay the course when you are the only one walking it. Continue to do the things you know will keep you close to the Gospel. Attend Church, read the Scriptures...prayer is a great soother and comforter. Who knows, by your steadfastness and example, you may be the beacon that leads your family back.

It is always hard to see family members lose their testimonies and leave. Many of us have experienced it. This is a great place to find friendship and solace, to strengthen your testimony and faith.

Welcome.

Welcome to the site myfaithgrows
I know that living in a family that breaks away from the church is hard... keep your chin, your standards and your faith up. That's the best you can do to keep you from losing your mind. Keep in contact with good LDS examples (this site is a good start!).
I found this site years ago when I needed to find and keep some ties with good LDS people myself.

You never know... being an example, standing firm in what you believe... may be a returning point for some family members.
