Hello. My name is A_Wads and I'm very happy to be here. I've been a member all my life and am sealed to my very best friend in the world. I have 5 grown children- 4 of which chose to leave the church as adults after they were married (outside the church). They all missionary for their new faith (Christian-Baptists) and their love for the Lord is their life. Needless to say this was very hard for my spouse and I as they were all sealed to us or born under the covenant. Losing them nearly destroyed me for a time but we had to let them go and do as their hearts led them. Although they do not openly say what they feel about our beliefs it has caused a deep rift in our ability to visit one another and talk about the things that mean the most to us, namely the Lord, as they believe we do not believe in the true Savior but in a false spirit or demon. Consequently our family dynamics have changed drastically. Anyway here I am... I sure need friends and people to share with and talk to. We are in a wonderful FHE group and that has really helped. I'm anxious to get to know everyone and hope to be an asset to your forums.

Just so you know and maybe it will help; there are many of us whom have the excat same problems you do with yoiur kids; we have three out of five whom will not be with us in the hearafter; {as it stands right now}. but i will go to my grave grasping every possible oportunity to help the spirit help them. and our prayers are with you and every other parent out there whoms hearts are broken.

Hi A and welcome. I know how you feel... although I have only 2 of 4 out today... you never know. I hope somethig will happen later that will bring them back... I have one on mision right now ... in MTC and one 17 eager for mision. My both other kids are living with young men outside the church. Where I live there are not that many LDS around.
