Post Hello I'm Dusty Boots

Hi I'm DustyBoots
Cowboy philosopher and poet.
I'm this way...Thanks to my roots;
An' by my poetry I try to show it.

But there again I'm just a common man;
I write what i'm obliged to see an' feel.
I'm tryin' to deliver the best I can;
of the things that might be...true and real.

You can see I like the things of yesterday,
I write of stuff I've been told by others;
An' stories that put my mind into play;
Of blood and gore I have my druthers.

For the most part I live a quiet life...
In a home, with my books; an' my wife.

I'm a member of the church and write cowboy subjects and historical religious poetry.
