Heck the crazy lies are one of the reasons I come here and annoy everyone. I figure there must be something to any religion that generates the level of criticism that the LDS does.

Well wasn't there also that story where I think it was Joseph Smith and some other people saw Satan riding on the water of the Mississippi?

I'll tell you what.....I am way more scared of swimwear than water! Some things just should not be seen in public.

Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to tell you guys what you believe - I was just interested to hear your comments about this rather strange idea I remember hearing.

Thanks miztrniceguy - I didn't really think that. I just wanted to clarify where I was coming from. I know there are a lot of strawmen of Mormonism, just as there are of most other belief systems.
