Default My Declaration to the World:

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is truly the church of Jesus Christ. There are those that say they want to rid the world of the church. Jesus Christ put it on the earth and only He has the power to remove it. We are not just christians, we are the latter-day saints. When Jesus Christ was on the earth He taught His teachings in the purest form. When He left the people corrupted His teachings for their own traditional beliefs. I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are the word of God. They are like two mirrors. When you hold two mirrors up they create an everlasting reflection. When Joseph Smith, through the power of God, translated the Golden Plates into the Book of Mormon, he truly raised up that second mirror and the everlasting gospel was shown. The purest teachings of Jesus Christ were once again brought to the earth. We stand not alone, but with the army of Heaven itself! The sacred scriptures talk of Zion being rebuilt. I say that we members must not dispute among ourselves. Rather, we need to build one another up and try to bring Zion back to the earth. There are those that are lost and without the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are those that have never heard of our Lord and Savior. He died for those that have never heard of Him as well. The temples that have been and are being built are the sacred houses of the Lord. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is indeed the kingdom of God on earth. I am thankful for God the Father that sent His only begotten Son. I am thankful for the Lord and Savior of all mankind, Jesus Christ. I am thankful that He was willing to sacrifice Himself and take upon Him our sins. I am thankful for the Holy Ghost; it is that very Holy Ghost that manifests to us that the church, the Holy Bible, and the Book of Mormon are true. I am thankful for the Priesthood that was restored to the earth and for the honor it is to be a Melchizedek Priesthood holder. I'm thankful for the Lord raising prophets and apostles up yet again in the time of need. I'm thankful for the prophet Joseph Smith who was truly a prophet of God and for Jesus Christ choosing that young boy to be the instrument that His kingdom on earth would be restored. I'm thankful for the current prophet and apostles that are the on the earth today. They are not our prophets and apostles alone; they are the prophets and apostles of God and they are on the earth for all mankind. This is my declaration to the world.

Very nice! ...and yes, I have to comment on two things.

1) Can you possibly break all that up into smaller, more digestible paragraphs?

2) The Church doesn't like using "Latter-Day", because that is actually used by a splinter group of the Church, and they've got the claim on it. Our Church uses "Latter-day", and I think most internet-savvy people know that.

Keep up the good work!

I think most people don't realize that at all, especially given that the official logo of the church is in all caps.

Better? And I use "latter-day saints" because that is in the name of the church.

I had no idea about the Latter-Day/Latter-day difference!

I guess I'm over-estimating the familiarity of the online membership with details concerning the name of the Church.

And I think LDSChristian missed the point entirely. <sigh> The paragraphs are a relief, though.
