Default Can some explain the Gift to Know the Differences of Administration to me?

I have no idea what this gift is, but my PB mentions it. I know it is hardly talked about in DC and the NT. Also i have this quote but dont really understand it :
"What is meant by the differences of administration? By referring to the Greek text of 1 corinthians 12:5 where the apostle Paul is speaking about the same thing, we may get a suitable answer. Apparently by 'differences of administration' is meant the distinctive varieties of service and ministration by which things are accomplished in the Church. The Lord seems to be saying ( vs 15 ) that while there are diversities of serveices and ministers or agents such as apostles, high priests, seventies and the like in the church they all depend on the same Lord and Savior who is the head of the whole Church. One who has the gift by the Holy Ghost to know the differences of administration is one who discerns correctly the services and agencies by which the Lord works"
I guess what im asking for is two things:
1) Opinion on the gift
2) Further explanation of the quote
Thanks guys

The quote provided seems to say that the spiritual gift of knowing the differences of administration is essentially a metagift -- you're being given the gift of understanding, or at least identifying, the other spiritual gifts.

this is a very special gift. it is often used by leaders of the church to know how to run a ward or stake. it is literally a special conduit to the Savior and used to know how to administrate in the kingdom. it is knowing who should do what callings and identifying special gifts and abilities in others. it is, of course sometimes given to others as well. i notices a loss of this great gift upon release, so i knew mine was a calling induced gift. if you have it, your spirit is probably more easily and fully in tune with others. you are probably able to understand the gifts others have and feel of their spirit better. you probably are very in tune with the spirituality and understanding of the individuals. i hope you serve in areas of the church where you are able to council with, assist and aid individuals, especially those striving to repent or return to full activity. you will be a great missionary of you get the chance. a very wonderful gift, often overlooked, but never underutilized by the person who understands it's power.

While Patriarchal Blessings are very personal, I feel inspired to share a small part of mine because it fits directly in this thread.

I also have the gift of administration. But my blessing expound on it to "knowing how to delegate and motivate".

I find it quite unique. I have seen how it and my other gifts as mentioned in my blessing have made themselves manifested in my life. I can also see how I have a different and unique twist on how to explain things for others to understand.

Patriarchal blessings can be interpreted quite literally, as they are meant for our own understanding. Sometimes, you might not find a direct correlation to the scriptures. Not all gifts of the spirit are explained in the scriptures.
