Also, in Shindler's list, there is one scene where you see a nude woman, and you see *everything*, after she had sex with one of the guys running the concentration camp.

This is just another case of where the "old immorality" is being passed off by Satan as the "new morality". He seems to be quite effective at getting people to believe that lie.
I remember a tipping point in modern culture (at least for myself) was in 1994. It was about that time that I noticed a shift in movie ratings; movies that would have been rated "R" were being rated "PG-13".
Case in point: the movie "Nell". It was rated PG-13. It also had about two minutes of Jodie Foster prancing around bearing full naked breasts. PG-13? One year earlier it would have been an automatic R.

Well, see, that's an important historical event that needed to be portrayed onscreen.

My History lecturer once said that the Bible should be classified as "xxx-rated" and that it 's the most "decorated glorified filth ever" hahaha well the whole group decided too get copies of the Bible too see what all the fuss was about , interesting that some of those students became Ministers/Pastors/Bishops I wonder what intepretation of the Bible you would get I suppose depends on who is making the movie

In this time when many people are holocaust deniers, do we sugar coat the events portrayed in these movies or do we go for an accurate portrayal of the events so as to shock people into hopefully stopping events like that from happening again?
Schindlers list was on the approved list of films for use in history lessons taught for 11-16 year olds in the UK until it was removed because it may cause offence to some muslim children who do not believe the holocaust took place, a very sad state of affairs.

There is a difference between acknowledging what happened, vs. submerging yourself in it watching all the gory details... I mean you can say "someone was raped" and leave it at that, or you can watch hours of vids of people being raped, reenactments of people being raped etc. etc. in order to get "the full effect of it... you know... so that you will understand it and not want to go out and rape anyone....
something I like about our church, we do not use the cross as our symbol... hopefully everyone knows why we do not use the cross?

That's correct. It also shows Schindler in bed with a woman and she's topless. Someone convinced me I HAD to see that movie. I expected gas chamber nudity, not sexual nudity in a movie about the Holocaust. They could have had the Nazi girlfriend covered up with a sheet and they could have portrayed Schindler as a womanizer without the nudity. I was really disappointed.
