I have had horrible experience with other non LSD "Christians". Most all of them that I have encountered have been mostly closed minded most of the time. I totally gave up on Christianity for over a decade.

repentance is how you metamorphosis - the Greek word translated as "repent" is "Metanoia" - meta = change, noia = how you perceive reality. The word means to change from darkness to light, turning away from darkness, to face the light where you can see everything clearly.
