Default Excommunication in the spirit world.

After you've passed on and you are in the spirit world/prison, can you still be excommunicated?
If so I don't imagine we would be excommunicated for our actions. Because we can't really do much. Which is why we need proxies, for baptism, endowments and eealings.*
But. What about thoughts, that would be actions, if we were able?
I think the answer is no. But still, I'm curiious. Brother Ray

* My Tiny spell, says I spelled sealings wrong. How else would you spell it?

You spelled "sealings" with 2 e's instead of with an 's'.

Random thought: If the Temple ever did drive-through sealings we'd be so very close to something mistakenly thinking about weaponized Pinnipeds

Wait. I get it. I asked how else would you spell sealings, and ceilings is another way. You gave me exactly what I asked for ;0) Brother Ray

I saw the mistake you pointed out. But spelling it correctly sealings still gets the red line.
sealing doesn't get the red line, only sealings I wonder if it means that sealing is both singular
and plural, like deer? Brother Ray

Huh? to the whole post. But especially huh to Pinnipeds. What are they? I'm probably the only one on the forum that has to ask Brother Ray

To answer seriously (oh, the pain!):

I expect the word-check dictionary recognizes the word "sealing" only as the gerund form of the verb "to seal", as in, "I am outside sealing my deck." It does not recognize "sealing" as a singular noun, which of course it is (though not very commonly used outside of Mormonism). So it sees the plural form "sealings" and says, "No, that is not right; gerunds don't end with 'ings', only with 'ing', so it must be wrong." So it underlines the word.

I thought of that too. Doesn't seem too feasible. Does it? Besides. If someone was to commit an excommunicatable sin in the Spirit world/ prison All Heavenly Father would need to do would be to reroute their final destination ;-) Brother Ray
