I used to read them before I joined the Church and I just felt, hostility. I ended up going to Wikipedia to learn about the Church.

I suspected that you didn't have any idea of what you were talking about. My suspicion is turning out to be correct.

The Book of Abraham is not a funeral "thingie." It is a tome of LDS canonized scripture which can be read here:
