Thanks for helping people make themselves aware of the realities of online doings. One suggestion - maybe add something about how you shouldn't have any expectation of privacy when posting on boards, or even in sending private messages to people.
Thanks again!

This is something I have thought a great deal about and also been here long enough to see the stuff that happens.
Beware that if someone seems to be very flattering think maybe of his or her motive. There has been plenty of names created by one individual to swoon women to get them to move to a private site like messenger and there the 'flattery' continues and may go into the next level. Beware that people online don't have to be who they say they are and can even give false photos and false information. Don't let someone creep into your life just because you feel it is "different online". If you have to think if something is inappropriate you have most likely slipped beyond the white zone into the grey zone and going back can be painful.

May I add as well. Just because they say they are LDS and you meet them on an LDS site...does not always mean they are above board either.

Unfortunately I have found this to be very true especially lately.
