Chat Room Open All Day - Donation Incentive
To address the financial constraints to run an ad-free site of this magnitude, we are incorporating incentives for meeting of donation goals. In addition to the LDS.net bands (see the home page of LDS Mormon Network) you will receive for donating $10 or more, I will also implement the following chat feature once the site has acquired $500 in donations.
I do know that some members of the site have been frustrated with the amount of time chat is closed. Likewise, we want to insure that the chat is an uplifting experience for all participants. The Moderators and I have devised a plan that will allow the chat room to be open from 9am to 9pm MST, whether or not a Moderator is present. The chat will be opened only if a Moderator is present from 9pm to 9am MST. A contact form will be easily available to notify the moderators that help is needed in the chat. In additional, chat logs will be read daily to ensure that the environment of the room adheres to the site rules. I think this will be a viable solution for those members of the site who love to chat. Please only donate if you are so able.
