Ethnic and Cultural Jokes
We, as members of lds.net, have the pleasure of having people from all over the world join us. It's truly amazing that one day we could be talking to someone in South Africa and an hour later someone from England.
Also the majority of us share a common bond. Christianity. With that goes the understanding that we are all God's children. We are all loved by Heavenly Father whether we are from South Africa, England, Ireland, United States of America, Brazil and any other place in the world. We are all equals as children of our Heavenly Father.
With that in mind, let's be mindful that ethnic or cultural jokes can be found offensive by many. What might be funny to you may not be by the person from that country. I personally have always had an extreme dislike for these types of jokes and I know others share the same thoughts and feelings.
So let's keep them off the board. Thanks.
