Oh i should add that the link should be clickable and you can link to it with just the text "LDS" or "LDS.net" within your blog post. Great posts! Keep them coming

Wink Blogging on LDS.net

Dear Heather,
thank you for registering as a friend on LDS.net. In our world today, we need friends more than ever before.

You will probably think me very ancient (turning 50 on Christmas Eve and my wife will be 40 the same day believe it or not), but eventhough I learned about computers (when we still used punch cards and actually learned how to read the holes (Hole-ey smole-ey)), I have never blogged in my life, and donīt know how.

I could do with winning a T-shirt, but where can I find info on how to blog?

I know itīs hard to believe, that someone who has gone from programming in BASIC (Beginners All purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) to programming in PASCAL, and learned to read punchcards since before WINDOWS and The Internet, hasnīt a clue how to blog, and doesnīt do Facebook or Twitter (My wife finds me twittering enough without going online and doing it there as well), but Iīd appreciate the help. I thought I was clever, when I learned how to text and e-mail, and taught my mother to do the same. So if you could lend a hand, Iīd be greatful.

Your friend in the U.K.

Helgi

I'm hoping that simply posting a blog here is sufficient...if I need to link it to this string, let me know.

Keith,

How did you get your facebook link to appear like that? I've tried a couple different ways, and it still shows up as it does in my original post, the login text: "Profile Link: Login | Facebook" Thanks for the help!

Default Facebook

Hi! I went to my profile page on Facebook and cut and pasted the URL from the address bar at the top of the browser. When I posted my message here, that is the way the link came out, as you now see it. Hope this helps.

Keith

P:S I tried the link in your post and it is working just fine. I think mine shows up a little differently because of the way I originally set up my account.
