I've added the integrated chat room. This means that if you are logged into the boards, you will automatically be logged into the chatroom when you click on the chat link. You can click on the window icon (3rd from the left) and the chat will open into a new window. This way you can have the room off to the side, and still browse the site. (Just keep the original webpage minimized. Once you leave that page, the chat will close on you.)
Right now I am using the free service of sigma chat to try it out. Let me know what you think, as I will soon be upgrading to the full service. Nap time is now over... Next update to come: spell checker

Too bad it requires Java I can't get Java to load onto my computer... something about the Active X Control.

Hey Strawberry, have you ever used mozilla as a browser? I like it way better than internet explorer. You can get it at: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
You will probably still need to download java, which you can get at http://java.sun.com/getjava/

Thanks Heather I am working on it. My brother in law has also told me about Mozilla and had even installed in on my computer. Do you know if there is a way to use MSN Messenger with this browser?

sorry, I can't get it to work for me with out downloading something....and I can't do that right now.. computer is nearly out of space. And I promised I wouldn't delete anything to make more space.. Just something I have to deal with for right now....

Quick problem.
Maybe have the chat open up in a seperate and small window rather than directing our browser to it. Chat rooms really aren't all that active in such a way that you have to be watching it at all times. If you had the chat room open up in a seperate browser, users could still browse the forums while they chatted.
