Gallery organization - Please use the appropriate category for images, or they'll be deleted
In an effort to keep the gallery more organized and easier for people to find images of what they are looking for, I have added more instructions to the upload page. Please take the time now to edit your images and make sure they are in the appropriate category and that they have titles so we know what the images are. Next week I and the mods will be going through and deleting images that are not organized properly. I really want this to be a great resource for everyone, so I think it's important that I take these measures now before it gets too far out of hand.
Please be considerate with the images you are uploading. Remember this is a religious and family safe site, and what may be appropriate on other sites, is not appropriate here. As there are so many free image sites available on the web for personal photos, I'm asking that we limit personal pictures to 5 per person so that the gallery may be better tailored for this site.

I just figured out how to make it automatically resize the images to a max 800px on each side. No more worries that your image won't show up or take too long to download. No need to resize and edit them before you upload. YAY!

Hehe! It wouldn't be so bad if they were actually in the right categories. Makes browsing for church history sites as little annoying.

wanted to bump this thread.... not looking at number so much as the category. they need to be in the right category. please check your photos, there are a lot under baptism that should not be there. if you have doubles or some that only you can tell the difference between them, wouldn't hurt to delete one.
for those that don't know.... go to "my account" then "manage pictures" beside each photo it will have it's current information. "title", "image category", "who can view", "tags".... then under that is "update image" and "delete" remember to update image (do this with each image you edit).

Right now under baptism they all have to do with baptism. Whewww...it's very time consuming. Maybe I'll just start deleting instead. lol
