Welcome,
There is a great site where mormon woman share thoughts, etc. I posted my conversion story on that site. The site is Mormon Women: Who We Are If you are interested in my story it's posted under 'Sharing Our Voices' and is titled "Bad Things Happen to Good People."

This forum is a great place to get answers from very knowledgable people about the Church. I would like to encourage you to meet with the missionaries in your area AND visit the Church.

Hope to hear more from you, Candace

Hi Hannah,

Welcome to the site and welcome to the church, if you've visited now..

I hope you enjoy posting here and enjoy the church services.

I recently returned to the church after a break of 26 years, I've now been baptised and hold 2 callings: Assistant Librarian and Single Adult Rep. I've become more familiar with lots of members since receiving my callings, and I do feel much more fulfilled than I was before I started attending church again..

Good Luck with whatever decisions you make..

HI HANNAH8,
Wow sounds like you have really felt the spirit
I am new to this site as well but it looks like you have come to the right place!!
There are alot of great people on this site, in The Latter day Saint Church their are
alot of wonderful people. As I saw some1 wrote already going into the Relief Society thread would be great. Someone should be able to help you get in contact with some Missionaries in your area that will be able to help you out so much more.... I joined the church only shy of two years ago now and I have never been happier. My life has meaning and feel's like I have filled that void that I never really knew I had! I wish you all the best of luck and if you have any question's don't hesitate to ask
From the kiwi from down under hahaha

Yes I have. It's a great video. We had that when I was a missionary as well. That is ultimatley what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about.

I just wanted to say welcome Hannah! I am a convert to the church (baptized 7/14/2007) and it has changed my life. Always hold on to that feeling that you have about the truthfulness of the gospel and it will see you through tough times. Keep us informed of your journey and learning!

Congratulations on finding the Church! You now have a life time of discovery ahead of you to look forwards to, and a new family in the Church to love and support you through your journey of faith.

The truth given us in scripture is that Jesus Christ is the example to man of all things concerning G-d – Which proves the LDS doctrine “As man is G-d once was {meaning that in the manner that man is; Jesus once came to earth and took upon himself} and as G-d is man may become {meaning that as Jesus was resurrected from the dead and so is alive today that man will also be resurrected and live}.

Why can't those claiming to be traditional Christians believe the truth?
