I finally Bought a White shirt to blend in a little more,

but I was wondering I Enjoy Watching Anime, And sometimes anime can be Somewhat Naughty I guess you could say... with some Nudity here and there, but it is animated nudity would this be something bad or can I continue to watch it... I kinda guess its just a way of life or at least my past life and it is one of my favorite types of movies or Television,

anyhow Thanks for your .02?

There is another thread concerning nudity on the site, you might get some feedback from that as well. As for animated nudity goes, i dont see it as being any different from human nudity......it's the individuals response to the situation that is important........and there are reasons why nudity is considered something to be "covered up".........one reason being that way too many people confuse sex with love.....and nudity with sex.......so, i guess you just hyave to be really honest with yourself and decide whether or not a change of viewing materiel is in order.

Does it invite the Spirit into your home? My personal opinion? I doubt it.

The LDS religion is not about forbidding things, its about spiritual growth and becoming more Christ-like, We are all at different points in our spiritual walk and only you can decide what point you are at.
My guide to things like that is this "If Jesus knew what I was doing - would he mind?" And you will find that your answers will probably change over time and you (hopefully) grow closer to Christ. There are things I did as a new convert that I would never do now and I am sure there are things I do now that 20 years from now I would not do. Hopefully as we stop doing un-Christ-like things we replace them with more Christ-like behavior.

On the white shirts -- I hate them, I wear blue about half of the time and have even worn a black shirt a couple times, many of the men in my ward feel the same way, you'll see about 50-60% in white and the rest in colors.

It's funny how the white shirt has become a symbol of piety, all because it is the required attire for missionaries and a symbolic color for baptism. I think we sometimes need to be reminded that such rules and policies have a purpose, but when self righteousness supersedes purpse, there is a problem. I am reminded that the rosary was once a simple tool for remembering to pray, and that incense was used to make the church smell good. Even a Moroni-less temple (of which there are a handful) is still a House of the Lord. I am not knocking those who see those items as holy and a necessary liturgy, but we should beware of making a white shirt a symbol of righteousness. It is no more or less holy for Sunday worship than a blue, black or plaid shirt.

As to cartoon boobies, they should be avoided if used for (pardon the pun) titillation.

This is a no go. As far as I know nudity would be classified as porongraphy, which is a no go, and actually falls under the Law of Chasty.
From Dictionary.com the diffention of Pornography

I watch anime, because of the Art, Mainly.... you can sit down and the way most of it is drawn it is amazing... Not the kids stuff... but if you sit down and watch FLCL, the art work there is amazing... Elfen Lied also great artwork... ergo Proxy... so on and on...

Mostly R rated. but still good.
