So, what do you think if they have no religious symbols whatsoever?
Elphaba, the atheist

Honestly I probably wouldn't assume atheist. I don't really see an atheist going through the trouble of 'religioning up' their house (though a theme of differing religious buildings or symbols could be a cool one), so if I saw them I'd probably assume belief of one kind or another. The reverse however, some people just don't decorate or they don't use a religious theme, other than my scriptures and a few books I don't think I've ever bought anything that would make any house I own scream religion, the prints of Joseph Smith and O' Jerusalem were gifts.
Honestly I don't think I pay much attention, unless its reaching out and smacking me upside the head or I spend a lot of time there I'll probably not notice either way. I'm sure I've seen plenty of houses lacking religious symbols or with a paucity (compared to some homes I've seen) and not taken note of it. Weird how the mind works.

I live with my non member family so most of the house is not religious but if you saw my room? I have a picture of Jesus hanging in it but really you'd probably think I'm an extremely messy person with a lighthouse obsession.

That religious decorating is not their type of decor?

I have my wedding photos in front of the temple, scriptures on the table, and some books on the temple, but that's about it.

Then I don't know what you are. You could be anything really.
My mom was very religious and she had no religious symbols up anywhere. She had her Bible by her bed but that was it.
My mom was extremely neat and didn't like "stuff" anywhere.
Just not her style at all.

Our house doesn't have a lot of Jesus paraphenalia. You'd find Christianity Today magazine in one of the bathrooms, and Today's Pentecostal Evangel in another. There are a few Bibles on desks and tables. But, where I'd hope you most see Jesus is in the spirit of the house, and in the joyfulness of our children.

Most likely Jehovah's Witness--or simply unaffiliated. 63% of King Country residents (Seattle area) are so.

I have a postcard of the SL Temple on the refrigerator, and I probably have some papers from church here and there. If you go to my bedroom, you will find a ton of LDS related books on my nightstand, but we don't have big pictures of temples or Jesus or the First Presidency hanging on the walls. Nothing wrong with having them, but I am a photographer so you will find my photos of landscapes, seascapes, abstract architecture or family instead. I have taken artistic photos of a dozen different temples, but I don't hang them in my own home.
