Default Words of the Modern day Prophet - Where?

I know that the modern day Prophet died recently. When Monson
becomes the new Prophet, does he deliver a weekly or monthly
message to the people of the church? Where can I find these at?

Also, do the members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles deliver a weekly or monthly message to the members of the church?

You'll find a message from the First Presidency in the current edition of the monthly magazine "The Ensign". You can order the magazine through your ward or you can read it online (including back issues) here.

The Message of the First Presidency is also kept on the front page of LDS.org.

Yep, right there on the left of the page. It's a good thing to use for family night or for home teaching... and of course for personal study.

But to answer the other part of your question. The First Presidency or the Twelve do not really deliver a weekly message. Most of them are busy doing the different jobs of the Church they are assigned. Some do get to speak at local wards and stakes. But twice a year when we have our General Conference all of the 12 and the first presidency speak as well as some other general authorities.

And General Conference is coming up, the first weekend of April. There will be 5 sessions of Conference (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday). The first session, Saturday morning at 11:00 EST, will be interesting, as it will be there that we will be asked to sustain the new prophet and First Presidency in a solemn assembly.

The times will be posted/announced in your ward, and is broadcast to all of our church buildings. It is also available for listening/viewing online at lds.org and byutv.org

if i don't want to drive 10 miles or so to go the the assigned stake building to go to General Conference to sustain the Prophet, and instead go to the stake center thats 2 blocks from my house, would that be considered NOT sustaining the Prophet?
