I am also pregnant with my forth. Congratulations Deb!
I am more excited with this one than I was with the others. I am enjoying my pregnancy very much. I am 23 weeks. Having a UP and planning a UB. Not much support but I am staying positive as it is my pregnancy. I want the best for my baby and myself.

I don't usually enjoy pregnancy but I am this time. We have trouble staying pregnant so its a blessing.
Hubby would love 7 kids. We are very happy we had one and to have 3 we are very happy. To have 5 is my dream and if we have more I will be amazed.

Congratulations sisters! I am not currently pregnant myself but I am a doula and childbirth educator. I LOVE helping women in the childbearing year.

How do you become a childbirth educator? What do you do exactly?

I became a childbirth educator through ALACE's distance learning program. I had to complete the 9 or 10 modules covering different aspects of childbirth. I completed a reading list of about 20 books. I taught several couples with good evaluations and was certified. And now, I attend coferences and classes every year to maintain my certification.

Currently, I teach couples privately in their homes. This is really a wonderful option for couples who live far from the hospital, who want the personal attention of private classes, or moms who are bedridden and can't make it to a class. I have applied to a couple of hospitals in the area to teach and would love to see that come back positively.
