I was playing hide-n-seek with my almost-4-yo the other night. I managed to maneuver some pillows under a blanked to make it look like I was under the blanked, then hid in another room. No mean feat for the parent of a child who takes shortcuts in counting.

Well, she started giggling as soon as she was done counting, but she went through the "effort" of looking for me. "Where are you? Come out wherever you are" then she made it back to the original room and screamed "YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR ME!!!" and leaped upon the pile of pillows, laughing wildly and attempting to tickle 'me'. Husband said it was the funniest thing he's seen in ages.
