Beside this issue, hows the job hunt?

Thanks, all.
Collectively, our prayers are with you.

You can request a new SSN from Social Security office.

I can't help but think that by the time I get everything restored (new ID, new SS card) that it'll be just the right time for something new and good to happen, and I would've missed out on it if I'd had my stuff sooner.
What a wonderfully positive attitude to have!

The job hunt is going, slow and steady. I've had some great help from a few people here (biggest thanks!) and my room mate. I've turned in my resume to about 6 or 7 places so far, and I'm still looking for more.

Tomorrow (before the LDS.net gathering!) I'm going to follow-up on one of the leads in person. But it's in Sandy, too, and if I have to train there I'm not sure how I can get there for 1-2 weeks. The UTA is quite confusing... But if it's what I need to do I'll get it figured out (and have the people I called explain it more slowly for me, lol!)

SS Office closes by the time I can get there, but they're also sending me a form (it'll just take longer that way.)

It mostly seems like it's patience at this point. Just keep doing what I'm doing and trusting things to work out.

I do wish you had further experience in SyBase or Oracle databases. I could place you quickly.

Have faith, which I do believe you do have. Everything will work out in the end.

For some reason today really drained me. I'm stressed out, a little dismayed, and being patient takes a lot out of me (terrible, I know!)

I started my day out right... I read my scriptures, then I worked out for 20 minutes in this home gym thing we have... Did my chores. I don't know what's up.

Just waiting. Bah.

Something was in the AIR as I spoke to people across the globe. Weird...

Well, I have a couple potential interviews coming up soon.

One I'm really really hoping for. It's a good position, if it's opened up in this last week.

Any extra prayers would be loved. I'm going crazy without having a job. Living off someone else when I'm able to work is really draining me :/
