Default Simple prayer request

I lost my wallet in Manti, and I would just ask for you to join in my prayers that it falls into the right hands so that I can retrieve it.

If you would throw in a little help finding a job and getting physically used to living out here in Utah (3 nosebleeds today...) that would be grand.

Thanks, all.

The lost and found people who comb the area for garbage and other items did not find my wallet.

I'm pretty much freaking out. I had my SS card in there for when I moved (I didn't want to lose it.) I can get it replaced, but now someone else could have my # and so I'm really anxious.

VOL... My prayers for you and your wallet are on the way... Good luck!!

PS. For the nosebleeds, try getting a Q-Tip really wet and GENTLY running it around the inside of your nose a few times a day (don't insert very far)... It helped when I moved from DBQ to Provo, and experienced the same thing... Also, carry a water bottle with you everywhere, and stay well hydrated... I lost my voice within a few days because of the dryness...

Hope that helps!!

I'm trying to drink a lot, myself.
Haha, I never got used to people abbreviating it to DBQ. Almost like DQ, and that just makes me think of ice cream.

Last night I took a Q-Tip and put some petroleum jelly on it to keep my nose "moisturized" while sleeping. I'd heard about that some time back (I have a history of random bloody noses in the summer.)

Thanks for the prayers.

LOL!

Well, my meager cash ($5 or 6) was in my wallet, and I have to wait about a week until my new debit card comes in the mail.

Essentially, I'm temporarily flat-broke. (No... I don't want to go to the bank and make a withdrawal. That'd make too much sense. SHH.)

I'm very thankful, though, that I set up my account on Wednesday, and no longer had $420 in my wallet.

No news except that offices I need to contact are closed till Monday...

But, expressing my thanks for the fact that my money wasn't in there, and that he's given me peace and calm, have done absolute wonders at increasing my blessing. I thought about it as we were coming home today, and I hadn't really worried about it for hours and hours. I just know that it'll all work out somehow (getting new stuff, getting old stuff, whatever) and that all I need to have is faith and patience.

It's so important express gratitude in your prayers. I had to really look to see some of the blessing that I have in the case of this "crisis" (So minor compared to some of these prayer requests... my heart goes out to them.) Acknowledging them and giving thanks has definitely increased my peace.

Love the Lord. Thank Him. I can testify of the power of this, even in small doses.

I'll keep you all updated.

I'll pray for you, bud. This, too, shall pass. Hang in there.

SS office is closed by the time I can get there (D'oh!) and I need to fax the DMV to get my temporary license sent out here. No idea if I can use that when trying to get a UT license.

Anyway, I think having lost my wallet is delaying me from doing stuff, somehow. There's just things I can't do without an ID (employers need one, some places to write checks, or whatever thing I need my ID for) that I guess I'm just supposed to wait to do.

I can't help but think that by the time I get everything restored (new ID, new SS card) that it'll be just the right time for something new and good to happen, and I would've missed out on it if I'd had my stuff sooner.
