My family will continue to pray for you and yours.

I've never had to have a c-section and I hope I never will. I've had surgery before and I don't heal well, I get sick afterwards, and I'm not able to take strong pain medications, so I worry about managing the pain. A vaginal delivery is painful too, but better than being cut open. I'm glad your wife did so well!

Thank you. I was very worried because she had the baby in Navy Hospital Guam, and Naval medicine is known to not always be the best!

Ugh. I had my first son in an Army hospital and I'm not joking when I say I would choose to have a baby by myself in the woods than do that again. It was horrible.

Ours went ok, we were lucky I guess, or someone above was really looking out for us.

For me it was the bedside manner of the doctor for the most part, but I think I lucked out because I refused a lot of things he demanded. I think he did 3 c-sections that night and my roommate had to have surgery right afterwards because he gave her too much pitocin. I'm glad someone was looking out for you!

Well, nice is good!

I just got some good news. I had another ultrasound today and she's growing at a normal rate and the doctor thinks I won't need to be induced. He also thinks I don't need anymore ultrasounds and that she'll probably be about 9 pounds. I can handle that! I am so grateful. Thank you everyone for the prayers.
