Default Lost Tools

My husband's tailgate fell open and his toolbag fell on the ground somewhere tonight. He drove all over looking for it, but it's nowhere to be found. He went into Home Depot thinking maybe it fell in the parking lot, but they haven't seen it.

Please pray for us. He needs these tools for work, uses them often, and they would cost about $2000 to replace. Add to that Christmas coming and we're pretty stressed out.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm so sorry to hear this!

Well, it may sound silly, but I've done this with success.

In your head imagine a lasso... then imagine the tool bag, then imagine the lasso going around the toolbag.

Then PULL IT IN as hard as you can.
Do this over and over and over...

I'd also put an ad in the lost/found of the newspaper.. they're often free.
You might also try calling your local news station.

And we'll all pray that someone is honest and that it will show up.

Is it OK if I imagine Wonder Woman's lasso? I'll try it! Yes, I put an ad in the paper. I'll give our news station a call too. Thanks for the ideas and for the prayers!

our local newspapers have free listings for found items. You could check there to see if anyone has posted them being found. You could also put your own lost add. Newer sites are offering things like this free. Craigs list, or local radio web sites also have it. good luck! Did you check with police>?

I posted on a newspaper site immediately and I keep checking it to see if anyone posted a "found" item. Please please please. We drove around again, but nothing. Went into Home Depot again, to Fred Meyer in case someone found it near there (they're in the same parking lot), and my husband says he'll call insurance, but when it happened to his friend (his were stolen), they said they either had to have vin numbers, pictures, or receipts (I think). We hardly have any documentation. *sigh* He said he was just thinking last week that he should take a picture of his tools and he even bought a rubbery mat to stop everything from sliding around so much back there.

I guess he'll have to learn the hard way to follow his promptings.

What a sickening feeling!!! I understand how you feel. I will pray hard for you today, and I sincerely hope you find them.

Good luck in finding them, I know how important it is to have the right tools to work. You may want to try stopping by nearby pawn shops and see if they show up there.
