Ruthie,

I will pray for you and your husband. Sometimes we can't see far enough to see that this can be a blessing in disguise.

My sister lost her business, her home and her entire life savings. And to top it all her husband is about to loose his job. So after living their entire life here in Cali they are planning on moving to Iowa where her husband has an uncle who has offered a house and a job. They have three teens and the oldest two are against moving to a little town and leaving all of their friends and the comfortable life they were used to having here.

The amazing thing is that my sister or her husband aren't sad or feel like they've lost everything. They feel that the Lord needs them somewhere else and they are willing to move and start a new life. They have a very positive attitude, I frankly don't know how I would react if I was in the same situation.

Stay positive and know that this too shall pass, hope that everything works out for you and your family.

Thank you everyone.

So far he still has a job. He's a contractor, but it looks like there may be a chance that he'll become permanent (he works for a company who's contracted by another company to do their help desk work), but maybe not. Every contractor has that chance right now.

I normally drop off my daughter at school and then drive immediately after to my school. We'll also need a car so my husband can get to interviews and such.

I may need to look for a job as well which of course makes things still more complicated. My husband and I may have to reverse roles for a while. . .

There's a lot going on and prayers would be really helpful right about now.
Ruthie, hang in there. Ensure you remind both the Home Teachers and Visiting Teachers on your dilemma. They will inform the Bishop on your financial problems. There maybe assistance if this does happen.

We love you dear sister and will include you in our personal prayers.
