My brother, it is the desire that the Lord will grant you if you constantly apply your self before the Godhead. Even Lehi desire was to be like Moses since his early grasp of the gospel. As you see, it was granted to him as he led two families to the promise land that was given to him.

Enoch desire was to know the GOD personally and the mechanics of the universe. Later, the desire changed when his spiritual knowledge grew to the point of to remain on the earth to facilitate the Lord's plan to those who shall inherit the celestial realm.

Abraham desire was to know what the deluge fathers knew. It was granted to him.

These accounts are only a handful of many great Saints since Adam who had desires. Let you know, it was desire for me to know the Godhead and those who serve it. It was granted when I learned to apply HIS will versus mine.

I am sure, once who move forward, it will come to you. Usually, unannounced and a surprise.

Don't feel selfish. We all have our dark demons to contend with. What exquisite, bittersweet truth it is to know that all the sins we have committed, are committing and will commit have already been paid for by a loving Savior. Just know that there is a God in heaven and a Savior who died for you and for me. That is my testimony regardless how many times I fall. Don't let your testimony be about how weak or strong you are, but in the strength that you can receive from the Lord when you're ready to take His hand each time you fall. I'm right there with you, bud. We all are. And from now on when I'm feeling weak, I will read your poem that you just shared. I think we can all see ourselves as that one little lost sheep. Keep the faith!

Good to be back. Finally have a little extra time to 'play'. I really should log in more often. Glad to see old friends. LostSheep, I'm also glad to see that you're still around, bud.

To stop the sin, one must preffer the spiritual companionship over mortal lusts. and i have found the spirit is indeed hard to aquire and retain, but its sssooo much more rewarding than any sin the advesary trys to satisfy with. my prayers are with you.
