Default Prayer request

Actually a couple of things... I don't like airing my dirty laundry but meh.

So I was never taught about the evils of credit cards and what not. That being said...

Please pray that I find away to get my debts to a manageable level so that I can move out, I really can't take it in this house much longer, and God forbid anything ever happen to my income as I can barely pay my debts now.

My mother is not a pleasant person, she is not a nice person, she is not a tolerable person, and I have to hide my religious beliefs from her so I don't end up on the street as with my debt load I can not afford to move out and due to crazy interest at this rate it will be years and years before I can move out (I seriously don't see myself able to move out before 30... can't get companies the debts are with to budge a percent on interest, and don't know anyone who will help me out at all).

Thanks everyone.

We should then be praying for the multitudes of people who have found themselves in the same situation dealing with credit card debts.

I understand what it is like to live with a difficult person. Even on the best of days, it is never easy. It really sounds as if you need to talk with somebody that really understands money. I wish you well and you will be in my prayers.

Oh I don't need to talk to anyone that understands money... unless they want to travel back in time and tell me what I know now YEARS ago. Talking isn't going to do anything about this situation, the debts are there I simply have to repay them, and now I know to never borrow in any form unless I absolutely must in the future.

Have you considered getting a second job to use just for paying off debt? I did that years ago and it was pretty amazing how quickly the debt was reduced.

Most people around here can't get a FIRST job right now. That's all I'm gonna say on that.

Actually, when I was thinking of finding someone that knows how to talk money, I was thinking of perhaps finding someone that could help consolidate your loans or CCC Counsumer Credit Counseling so they could get your intrest rate on your cards cut to a lower amount.

Consolidation is just gateway to other trouble usually, places like CCC can usually not negotiate any beter rates than the consumer, a decent goodwill letter and repeated sincere attempts to get help from the debt holders works just as good as anything a 'credit counselor' can do. Thanks though
