Prayers please

I just found out yesterday that a family friend (and former teacher of mine) who has breast cancer has recently been informed that the cancer spread to her liver. At her doctor's recommendation, she has stopped having treatments and is going home to be under the care of a hospice nurse. I would really appreciate prayers for her and her family. She has had a profound impact on my life and the lives of many others and this is a very difficult time for all of us. Thank you.

Hi, You will have my prayers certainly. My nephew passed 6 weeks ago, my mother passed last Friday with the aid of hospice. Hospice is wonderful. My family asked for and they got what each person needed. Don't be afraid to ask for what your friend really needs. FC

Cancer has hit me and my family as well so you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Spend time with her and her family and share stories and most importantly cry with them but please don't forget to laugh with them too.

Ditto what FairChild said about hospice - they were a BIG help with my mother and they are there to help family and friends as well! My prayers are with you and your friend.

Your friend has my prayers. My uncle was just moved to hospice as well, also with cancer. I know the pain you are dealing with right now. You are in my prayers as well.
