My Brother-In-Law
I don't usually ask for any prayers for my family, however, my BIL is deploying today for his first tour in Iraq. He is leaving sometime today from Fort Hood in Texas. He will spend the first couple of weeks in Kuwait, then head to Iraq. He is leaving my sister and their 3 young girls (oldest is almost 8) for the year. He will get some time off in August, but not sure when.
I am asking for your prayers that he stay safe and that the remaining members of his family will be strong. He is the only member of the family in the US Marines (cause the rest of us are Canadian) and we have never been through something like this before.
Thank you in advance.
Also, I do not want this thread to turn into a dicussion about the war and if it does I will ask that it be closed.

You got it CM. I pray that he will be well and safe.
BTW you wouldn't have to ask for the thread to be closed...I would do it anyway.

I've had several family members also head overseas for deployment, though none at the moment. Prayers are his.
