Been out of work for almost two months

Please pray for me. My family just moved to Utah on March 22nd. I have been out of work for almost two months now and I just had a job interview with a company that I am hoping to get in with yesterday. Pray for me that I will get the job if it is the right job for me.

I apparently got through the phone interview screen today. Now I have been chosen to have a face to face interview this Wednesday in Salt Lake City. Please pray for me that I will get the job if I will be successful at it.

I believe I would be successful at this job because of my Entry Level Information Technology skill in computers and because of my customer service experience.

The job I am trying to get is a Technical Services - Help Desk Agent

The job description is below:

Responsible for providing the first-line of post-sales telephone technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications for customers and/or employees. Answers basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products. Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures. Escalates complex problems to the Remote Support Engineering staff or Field Engineering. Typically provides technical support for internal and external customers. Escalates complex problems to higher level of expertise within organization.

I had the interview today. It went well but it is pending on how qualified other candidates are. I have lack of experience in some of the networking computer skills they wanted but he liked my personality and he also stated he thought I could learn.

Hopefully I have better qualifications than the other candidates. I will know by May 16th whether I have the job or not.

I just got a phone message today. They said they were going to start my background check. I am not sure but think I got the job. I am thinking it is all pending because they want to know if I have a clean background.

There will be no problems with my background check. I used to work at a casino where sometimes I would escort around over $250,000. The application I filled out to work at the casino was over 15 pages long. If I was clean for them I know there will be no issues for the new place.

I am still waiting for my background check to go through. It will probably be around May 24th when I hear back. Hopefully it will be sooner.

Rejoice with me! I just got a phone call and they said I start work on May 31st! A thanks to all who prayed for me. I am very happy I got this job as I believe it is going to open doors of opportunity for me.
