Default No...really, we've been asked to store food?

I thought you might like to read this. We have been told for so long and now I think some people are seeing the big picture...at least I hope so,

Yeah. Been reading about this. Our local storehouses say that their prices for wheat have increased and that it is hard to keep it in stock. I live in a remote -ish kind of place with only one road out and one grocery store. We had a snow storm this winter which closed down the roads. People couldn't get home from work and children had to stay over night in the school. It was a wake up call for all of us. Cuz if the grocery stores get cleaned out and we can't travel, we better have our personal stores properly outfitted.

With the economy in the US looking grim, being prepared is definitely a source of comfort.

We went to the church cannery the other night and we were told that there was a limit on wheat there. You could only purchase a 100 pounds per family per day. The sad part was that it was the same old people going to work on their food stoarge and none of us needed wheat except for one family. To give them credit, they were newly weds who had none.
I will agree that my food stoarge is a big source of comfort!

My ward met at the church in November of last year and again in February of this year to can rice. We canned over 3000 pounds. In March of this year we did wheat. I don't know how much we did but it was a bunch. Reading this makes me glad we did this. It also makes me want to do oats next.
I did call our Storehouse and they are rationing wheat to 100 pounds per family per month.
