Do you want us to go away? seriously. If no discussion is desired I can do that.

Our society will become like it was prior to the great deluge and what was seen from the five cities of the plain by Abraham. At this point, we cannot stop something that is the will of the masses in the end like it was in the last days of Nephites. Positive note, we can strive to save souls, save the dead, perfect our lives that we have honor of the lesser Intelligences, and prepare for the coming of the Lord.

I think [Pam] may have been saying that we Mormons need to be more proactive in posting and starting discussions based on the support of preserving marriage, and not come out of the woodwork when it's attacked.

I might be wrong though.

If you go to the menu of forums that is what is says. We have beat the prop 8 type discussion to death. This forum has been changed to post things that are supportive of our beliefs in marriage.

Hi, I can clarify. This area was predominantly used to discuss prop 8 Stuff. It had now broadened to preserving marriage between a man and a woman. What I find here though is mainly proving/disproving the depravity, moral deficiency, or illness of gay people. I am interested in being a part of that discussion, and the legal issues we face as a country. I do not want to interfere with discussion about LDS beliefs about sacramental marriage. The focus of this area of the forum is blurry to me. I think that's what I'm saying.

I was referring to Pam's message in the OP, when I said 'that's what I think she was saying' (I edited my first post to reflect that more clearly).

I didn't know this started as a board to discuss prop. 8. I need to go read those threads.

And the title was changed because someone complained about the title. It used to have Prop 8 in the title.

I'm sure if you are fearful that the faith couldn't stand in the face of a self defending counter-argument, then ban away

Get your panties out of a knot. You aren't going to win any arguments being a condesceding twit on this board.

After reading your posts i'm LESS inclined to be for the legalization of gay marriage.
