In Augusts issue of the Ensign Pres. Hinckley Challenged the Saints to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the Year Starting Sept. 1. How are you doing in the reading? Do you think you will be able to fulfill this challange? Tell me what you think.

I know this is a little late in the response, but I did take the challenge and read the BOM and it was for the first time in my life. I was baptized 26 years ago and thought I had a testimony until I actually read the BOM and prayed about it. I didn't get a still small voice response from the Spirit...I was overwhelmed with a vengeance. I was as if the Lord had been waiting for me to read the book and then earnestly pray about it's truthfulness. I have since become Temple worthy and was sealed with my wife and son. I thank God for our Prophets challenge.

I too, am very thankful for that challenge. I took it, and finished it on new year's eve. It was the first time I've ever read it all the way through, even though I was born into the church. It sparked a whole new wave of spirituality in me, and helped me accomplish a lot of missionary work, as well as get back on track with my life. I'm already reading it again...and learning new things from it that I missed the first time around.

I have read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover over ten times. I did take the challenge and read it again in 2005
