The Powers of Heaven, Elder Bednar, April Conference 2012

Maybe start with D&C 121.

Families Under Covenant, Elder Eyring, also April Conference 2012

The Power of the Priesthood by President Boyd K Packer

Also review the ordinances (I like the distinction made between churchy ones that require authorization and the family ones where the head of the family does the authorizing, although the father is expected to administer for both). An additional list is made in the Church Handbook
