As I sit in my elder's quorum weekly, I often find myself drifting into thought of post-church activities. Perhaps it's because it is always too hot in the room. I don't know. On occasion, however, a lesson will hook my attention and provide needed insight to a current problem. What do you get out of elder's quorum?

Luckily me and about 4 other guys split off and go to our own seperate room and have our missionary-prep class. Elder's quorum at my ward is mainly for the hard working fathers. I'm just a lazy student still lookin' for a girl.

I've found that you get out what you put in. No effort translates to no gain. I always try to bring up points and ideas that normal people don't usually think about to stimulate discussion when I get bored, that way I have to be on the ball and ready to defend my point, but it also challenges me to think about what I really believe in as well.

Bring up the Adam-God theory... that always engenders much discussion.
