Default preparing for the next step up...

So yea I'm 18, just graduated from High School, and been conferring with my Bishop for a while now (since he became Bishop, anyway ) about my ordination to the office of Elder, along with the Melchezidek Priesthood.

It will happen this coming stake conference, at the end of February.

The main counsel he gave me more than a month ago, was to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover, before stake conference.

And I'm doing that...it's amazing, really. :P

Just finished First Nephi...onto Second Nephi (15 pages a day).

Yes I know I started really late.

Anyway, my aim here is to seek any other preparation you guys might be able to suggest for the transition.

Feel free to suggest ANYTHING, no matter how zaney or crazy it may seem (crazy people like me require crazy preparation ).

Thanks a bazillion.

OK,

This is super top secret. It is the Oath and Covenant of the priesthood. So, don't go and do anything stupid like put it out on the internet.

PS, I personally take no responsibility for any error in this relic of antiquity.

Gillebre,
You need to do whatever your Bishop advises you and nothing else. I also think that 15 pages a day is not enough, but that's just me. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
