but, I am always looking for new recipes...easy and cheap to prepare...got any good ones that you would like to share?

What kind of recipes? Like dinner/party/desert? Or all of the above?

TUNA-CORN SAUCE on Toast
(or put on English Muffin, Bisquit, or Rice or Noodles)
1/4 cup mayo
2 Tbl spoon flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp minced onion
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 (6 1/2 to 7 oz) can tuna, drained & flaked
1 cup (8 1/2 oz ) can whole kernel corn, drained)
1/4 cup grated cheddar or American cheese
In 1 qt sauce pan, combine mayo & flour. Gradually stir in milk, onion, salt & pepper. Heat on low & stir constantly till mixture reaches a boil.
Add tuna, corn, and cheese. Stir while heating till mixture is hot, and cheese is melted. Serve over toast, or whatever you choose...
Makes 3>4 servings

Taco Soup
Serve with tortilla chips and shredded cheddar cheese on top, if desired. (approx. 8 servings)
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
4 cups tomato juice
1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 (1.25 oz) package taco seasoning mix
DIRECTIONS
In a large pot over medium high heat, combine the ground beef and the onions. Saute approx. 5 minutes, or until onions are tender. Add the tomato juice, corn, beans, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Stir well and heat throughout...(do not boil).

~~~~~Chilled & Easy Fruit Dessert~~~~~~
4 cups of miniature marshmallows
1/3 cup milk
1, 8-oz package cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla
1, 2-oz package dessert topping mix, whipped
1, 1 lb can fruit pie filling
(graham cracker crust, optional)
In a 2-quart sauce pan, combine marshmallows & milk. Heat on low, & stir till smooth. Chill till thickened.
In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese & vanilla; beat till well blended & fluffy.
Whip marshmallow mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
Fold in whipped dessert topping.
Pour half of this mixture into a 9 x 9 inch pan. (pan may be lined with the optional graham cracker crust, if desired.)
Spread the fruit filling evenly over that.
Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
Chill for at least 2 hours.

I would love any recipe, like I said...cheap and easy to prepare. I am tired of not having any new ideas for dinner, so I thought I might give asking for some help a try...I appreciate any new recipes...

I also get an email each week from Better Homes and Gardens wonderful and great recipes. Some taking less than 20 minutes to prepare. Might want to check out their website and see if you can subscribe to that. Not the magazine but the recipes. I can't remember how I got started.

This is the best recipe ever!
You buy the chocolate chip already made cookie dough at Costco. You let your kids and the babysitter bake it up and do the dishes while you are gone with your sweetie to a movie!

Pulled Pork: (serves 4)
3-4 lb of pork roast
1/2 bottle of favorite bbq sauce
Buns
-fry all the edges (to seal in the juices) in a hot fry pan. (shouldn't take more than 7-8 minutes total)
-put it in the crock pot, coat generously with bbq sauce
-cook on low for 6-8 hours
-pull apart and serve
