Did anyone catch Jay Leno last night? Nastia Lukin was a guest. Jay said she got robbed on the bars...I agree. They then go on to talk about the Chinese 13 year olds. Nastia's comment about it is pretty funny.

It's kinda funny because she's a gymnast and does all those crazy flips but she has a hard time walking around in heels.

I agree...we taped it and watch it over and over to see why. At this time, I would not be inviting the Ozs back as judges for the next trials.

This thread was on the question of the ages of certain Olymplic athletes, not whose country is better.
It should be noted that I wasn't the one who mentioned a country other than China first.
America has nothing to do with Chinese medals, but I couldnt resist throwing clear statistics at you all.

America has everything to do with the Chinese gymnastic medals. If China cheated, then not only America, but other countries were robbed of medals. What right did they have to cheat and break the rules? Absolutely no right.

If you don't care, Brenton, why are you here arguing about it? Seems to me that your only purpose here is to try to tell everyone who unimportant cheating on the world stage is.

I don't think anything will come of the investigation into their ages. I think that the IOC is more concerned about cheating by drug use rather than comprising integrity and cheating by lying. But, if you have faith in why the 16 y/o age limit was established (to protect younger athletes from serious harm), then shouldn't this be treated just as a drug investigation?

[quote=Brenton;249502]You're misunderstanding the point 100%, which I'm probably not too surprised by.
The whole point of the statement is to say that we are imperfect, and can never change that.
Everyone lies, every single person, you just cant deny that, because EVERYONE does at some time or another.

That doesn't mean you aren't perfect.
Ever heard someone say "youre perfect the way you are"?
Perfection is an impossibility.

Again that is contradictory. You state perfection is an impossibility but then you also say "That doesn't mean you aren't perfect."

It's not a contradiction, you just dont get it.

Basically, you are perfect THE WAY YOU ARE, you dont need to DO ANYTHING to be perfect, because YOU ALREADY ARE.

(I'm sorry for the capitalisation but I cant bb bolding)
