Thanks for the welcome,
I have really enjoyed learning about the LDS as well as the interesting topics discussed.
I would add that ( for what it's worth from an Non member ) I have really been impressed with the loving light so many of you shine.

Thanks again for the warm welcome
Thanks more for not calling me out on my challenge.

God bless,
Carl
Shoot Carl. I've known Ben for 10 years. I would have helped you defend yourself.

When they smiled, and I saw their teeth...there is NO WAY they are 16! They look 12>13...maybe.

As the article mentions, when questioned about their age..they submitted their passports. As Bela Karolyi states...top government officials approve or issued their passports. I watched an interview with him and he has no doubt those girls were underage.

Just seems so unfair. Yes they were talented..but at least other countries followed the rules. At least as far as we know.

I really think we're going to hear more about China's tactics after the Olympics are over. I just wonder what China has done to prepare the city for the influx of foreigners.

I really would like to see the truth come out. Not that I want to hurt those little girls who really did do fantastic....but the Olympics are supposed to be the epitome of sportsmanship and goodwill.

If it were proven that they are underage, would they then lose their Gold Medals?

Don't you think that would be the fair thing? They would have participated (whether the girls were innocent or not) against the rules of the event.

If another athlete had even a hint of drugs in their system...they would lose their medal...why should this be any different. It's against the rules.

I think ( Olympic rule # 45B ) states that they must give them to their day care provider.
